I dont think Camden, Chester, north little rock or pine bluff comes close. Big cities like Bmore, St louis Memphis have rates on par or higher. Only East St louis, East Cleveland maybe Gary, In are comparable

Not only American cities are seeing upstick in violence even in Vancouver see upstick in shootings. The city is 2 hours 30 mins or 140 miles north of Seattle.

Property crime there the last few years has been on par with Seattle and SF, and homicide rates haven't been that much lower. Lots of meth and homelessness.
So, according to that article, Flint has seen an increase of 33% in the number of homicides compared to the same period last year. Last year there was an increase in the number of homicides of 32% compared to 2019. Non-fatal shootings have doubled in 2021 compared to 2020. It is looking pretty bad for Flint, but apparently that is true for many cities at the moment.
29 year old man shot and killed Wednesday after leaving a funeral service in East Garfield Park on the west side.
Another 29 year old man was killed Tuesday while sitting as a passenger in a parked car in West Ridge on the north side. To date, this is only the third or fourth homicide so far this year that occurred east of the Chicago river on the north side, last one was a man found stabbed also in West Ridge back in late March. In contrast, there's been twelve on the west side since the start of this month alone, six of them had occurred in the East/West Garfield Park neighborhoods.
