And don't forget about New York City !!! It's also getting back dangerous and it has the potential to edge out both LA & Chicago due to the Population factor of the 5 boroughs. 2021 might be another year for the history books.
Whatever happened to Compton ? haven’t heard about that city in awhile and it used to have one of the worse reputations like Detroit”

One thing I’ll give nyc credit for is that it seems to never start any new year on fire with homicides. Awkwardly amazing if you ask me.

Its interesting, crime is still up, but Philadelphia, Chicago, LA, etc. are seeing large spikes (again) in homicides, while NYC is not doing awesome, its relatively stable, wonder what the reasons are?...There could be so many.

I'm looking forward to all the future threads about L.A. being an unlivable warzone that's worse than Iraq and people should consider moving to more desirable locations where you don't have to live in constant fear.

Its not the Compton of the 90s, but the CPT is still the CPT.... A young suburban girl went missing a few months ago and this happened last year. Rosecrans is still Rosecrans, but not like in the 90s according to those who grew up over there...

Compton had 22 homicides last year and as far as I can tell none so far this year. It had none in the month of January last year. Compton had 18 homicides in 2019. It had bottomed out at 13 homicides in 2015.
