LA's communities seem to trump Atlanta, but Atlanta is still winning. Interesting results, somewhat surprising.

I'm an Atlantan and I'll take Los Angeles.

Same here. L.A. is one of the few cities I would consider other than Atlanta.

It is not surprising when one considers the cost of living difference. This is what kind of single family home one gets in L.A. for $875,000.

Atlanta is too humid and hot in the summer and no ocean beaches. So LA.

That's sad...lol

Is a $250,000-$500,000 house possible in L.A?

Our strengths happen to be areas of expertise for LA. Plus, I hate this 30 degree morning morphing into 58 degrees and back all before 10pm. Just like Charlotte is behind the A, LA is that much far ahead the ATL. I'll miss the Bravos, Hawks, and Falcons though.

It's not a done deal for me by any means, it's more of a possibility thing. I am also very neighborhood and circle of friends specific with L.A., it would be a Topanga Canyon and my British ex-pats or nothing scenario.

I still love Atlanta, and have no desire to live anywhere else in the East if I remain in this region of the Country.

LA's the better city but I'd miss the tree cover and climate of Atlanta.
