Yeah, people on here clearly don’t want to admit that Atlanta is the big player of the music industry the last few years. Either that or they’re just not very up to date

San Francisco and Boston over Seattle makes no sense - Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Heart, Alice in Chains, Queensryche, Foo Fighters, Sunny Day Real Estate, Fleet Foxes, Quincy Jones, The Sonics, Brandi Carlisle, etc. etc.

Yes! Both Boston and the Bay Area have made contributions in Rock, R&B, and Hip-hop. Seattle's is limited to Grunge.

i know like two of those.

Boston has Donna Summer, Aerosmith, Marky Mark n the Funky Bunch (lol), BSO, New Kidz on the Block, Boston, Pixies, Dropkick Murphys, The Cars, James Taylor....

SF has Journey, Carlos Santana, the Grateful Dead, Santana, Metallica, Green Day and TUPAC!

Aerosmith sold more albums than literally every Seattle act combined.

Also Grunge is super overrated. It kinda popped up and went away in like 8 years and left like no influence what so ever.

Hair bands and punk rich left their mark on the industry Grunge didn’t
