I think that it comes down to those two. I give the nod to Atlanta based on usefulness and it being heavy rail, but I can appreciate Dallas being at the top as well given how many miles it has.

Actually it would be Miami (MDT/SFRTA/Brightline) vs. MARTA since that's the only city that could compete for the title.

Probably because LA would be the obvious winner. Kind of like the thread for the best system in the US that excludes NYC, which made it debatable between DC and Chicago.
