Nice shoutout of the forum, but I still didn't get the point of the article. For some reason it somehow merged with bashing Trump of all people. Why does everything has to do and invoke Trump?? Majority of city vs city is not even political.
Vice articles certainly have lost their appeal to me over the years, not sure if it's the writers, or me?
"There is nothing inherently special about this forum" Well-! Good sir/ma'am, I say good day to you and your dribble. Clearly we have far more to offer than they are willing to sell based on 12 years of experience
Pretty cool to be recognized. I wish someone would tally up the votes that each of the cities have gotten over the years, just to see which ones have been named and chosen most often.
Dang now we have to sign autographs.. this is tough.
But in all seriousness, its a fun forum. Very insightful.. learned a lot about places I didnt even know existed.
For the record to answer the author of the VICE article's question.. Boston. Boston is king!
Well, now that someone's resurrected this topic with a totally OT grudge post that the ever-vigilant mods dispatched quickly:
Didn't you see that bus bench sign at the top of the article?
I think it settles the argument: Baltimore is the greatest city in America!*
And it WILL bounce back from its recent tragedy.
*I did chuckle, though, when I saw one of those bus stop benches down the street from a friend's placie I was visiting near Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Been debating whether DC is in the south or north for decades.
Oh we've expanded. The whole states of VA and NC now have their "southerness" up for regular debate.
