Also, would Connecticut not be a fit?

it would be. Taxes are like NJ. Great value for homes, especially around New Haven area.

Sure, but it doesn’t meet the price metrics. With COVID-19, the blue chip lower Fairfield County towns got expensive. Guilford two towns east of New Haven is slightly beyond to 2 hour ride to NY Penn using Amtrak. I’d say that is the best Connecticut option at the price point. It’s pretty white. The OP is Asian. The Philly burbs close to the Keystone Amtrak line are a better value.

Bucks County, the county in talk, is 86% Non Hispanic White.

The towns between Bridgeport, Danbury and New Haven.

If there was an initial leader, I'm sticking with the Main Line burbs, and I kind of like the KoP town Center. I know it's not on the line, but that's ok.

Suburban Square in Ardmore would fit the bill. It is a really nice setup.

IIRC, the Main Line isn't really that different, pace South Ardmore. But again, Ardmore itself might hit that sweet spot.

Cheltenham Township has both beat on that score.

Thank you. I had a similar reaction but without the deft response.
