2013 or so was pretty awesome. The bar district was basically an accident that happened because of the financial crisis. High rise development was the original idea after the area was given CBD zoning.

Jersey City would be ahead of some of these, assuming the numbers in the OP are accurate.

Why are some posters shocked about Atlanta, this video clearly goes by radius increments of ten… up to 30 miles out. The Dunwoody/Sandy Springs ( perimeter) and where Cobb meets Atlanta (Cumberland) could compete with a midsize skyline without the city limit (Buckhead, Midttown and Downtown) skyline itself.

I’m sure this holds for lots of sunbelt cities.
Lots of suburban talls, as opposed to over concentration in the city. This especially true of Miami.

Simple as stated before. It placed above LA and SF. That is why in this video list some were surprised.

It is not hate or shortchanging it. We will see if Atlanta continues getting taller ones as skyscrapers.

Still a skyscraper as even the video maker points out. Starts at 492 ft or 150 meters. So this list is still not a skyscraper count one. Miami just won't be caught up on for the South.

Atlanta has always topped LA for skyline aesthetics, not too surprising. I really only think of Seattle when I think of really nice west coast skylines.

I agree. Los Angeles is not impressive. Seattle keeps getting better.

SF skyline is fantastic IMO. I agree LA is underwhelming.

Cambridge, Somerville, & Everett add a dozen or so more >300' within a mile or 2 of Back Bay. Within ~2 years (after South Station Tower tops), Cambridge will be building taller than anything Boston builds. And within a few years, Boston will be nearly finished building anything >280', and continue to be overly squat for decades to come.

I mean "squat" and "tall" are relative terms. Bostons tallest buildings are way closer in height to SF/LA/Philly/Houston/Seattle tallest etc.. than any of those cities tallest are to Chicago or NYC lol

*undercounts are unfortunately a possibility, due to data errors on the sites, but each city should be very close to being correct, with the information given.
Nashville pushing above it's weight as usual. I'd imagine it's number will be even higher in the coming years, wouldn't be surprised to see it reach top 15 or even top 10.
