By 2025, Nashville should have between 45-50 skyscrapers over 300 feet high completed.

Just absolute break-neck speed of skyscraper development, in a very short period of years.

I wish Nashville would allow height as well as density. That would be great to see!

Charlotte currently has 5 buildings under construction over 300 ft.. by the end of the year that number is expected to be 9-10.

The skyline is expanding dramatically southward and the SouthEnd area will have its own sizeable skyline of its own.

In Charlotte, most of the projects aren't publicized until they are literally almost ready to start construction. Apparently, there are than there are many more 30/40+ story towers planned in the SouthEnd area.

That's pretty amazing. They mention "more than 50 proposed and approved" for downtown and midtown.

Along with Austin, Seattle, and Charlotte, Nashville is building towers at a ridiculous pace.

Totally agree!

But Nashville does have the new approved tallest residential skyscraper planned to start next year, at a height of 750 feet, 60 stories.

That will really stand out and elevate the skyline.

Here it is, on the developer's site:

Never happens. Some will turn out to be speculative and others don't happen for various other reasons. But some that aren't even on that list may happen and take their place.

What would that list look like if you removed buildings not built or under construction.

Under construction? I’d say that’s a pretty good indication that it’ll make the list.

WOW!!

Nashville better go ‘head! They’re not playing at all! They already have the density, all they need is a signature tower. The one that’s approved is gonna dominate their skyline.

There has been a lot of highrises built in the 300+ ft range in Dallas. Much of the Uptown Dallas area is under height restrictions due to Love Field being so close. But even then…its adding to the density of the area.

The first pic is a picture of the planned project in Uptown Dallas (much of this was previously post in other threads)

First pic (@ 2:19) is the excavation of the 23Springs (399 ft) site and Harwood No. 14 (388 ft) being clearly visible too.

The cleared lot next to 23Springs is the location of 2811 Maple (372 ft), which hasn’t officially started construction. The 2nd pic (@ 2:23) is the Maple Terrace development (240 ft) which is now a few floors above ground.
