I understood you to mean that your list included "all proposals". I'm asking what the list would look like if it only included buildings that are already built or under construction.

I think that my post was interpreted as asking that buildings under construction be removed from the list.

Here's a quick list of just the buildings in Austin that are 500' or more and the project status. Austin will definitely be impressive with just what is under construction, and even more so with some of the proposals moving forward. I'll try and make a more comprehensive list of everything over 300' if I get a chance.

Rank Height Project/Tower Name Status
1. 1022 Waterline U/C
2. 875 Sixth and Guadalupe U/C
3. 859 410 E. 5th Proposed

5. 766 Perennial II Proposed
6. 755 Conrad U/C
7. 710 The Republic U/C
8. 707 Block 32 Tower II Proposed

Yeah, it's already impressive and if even half of the proposed get built soon, then it's even more so.

Even with current completed buildings and the 11 500’ers U/C right now I think Austin will leap cities like Charlotte, Denver, Pittsburg, Minneapolis and Dallas for height.

Nice cleanup of the post I made earlier. Much more readable and better defines the amount of construction currently in Austin.

The frost tower was the tallest in 2004 and now it’s near the bottom of list for tallest in Austin since completed.

That's a super impressive list. Austin builds like it's constructing a whole new city skyline every year! LOL

The 1,022 foot one I can't wait to see finished! Totally transforming the skyline into the major city leagues.

Not sure I love the design, though: https://www.dezeen.com/2022/09/08/kp...craper-austin/

Austin is going through a building boom like Dallas and Houston did in the 80s. Unfortunately, a lot of it was not completed due to the 80s savings and loan crash. Dallas would’ve had a supertall and Houston would’ve had a few of them.
