Baltimore is hopeless.
The World Cup games will be happening (if selected) in Baltimore City at M&T Bank stadium. Not in DC. That was part of the deal/plan. A fan fest would happen in DC.

lol, sure. I'm literally doing the opposite and posting easily Google-able facts. Which are, the two scenarios in the region's we're discussing are more similar than they are different.
States and other countries? We're talking about two cities 38 miles from one another, sounds like you're the one reaching.

It's still gonna be a DC event; The Olympics would be even worse. I get it, Baltimore is a DC suburb at this point.

You're posting shaky arguments. Including links doesn't change that.
Remember, we're not talking about regional cooperation. We're talking about whether places function as integrated cities.

Once again. The point is the scenario is not all that different. I'm not saying the Bay Area isn't more connected overall, it is, but the connection between Balt-DC is largely down played on here to boost the Bay region, and it has to work both ways. With the Bay and the DC-Balt areas, neither are singular MSA metros, they are both at minimum bi-nodal. My prior posts speak for themselves. San Jose is an independent city as is Baltimore. It is not even the same metro area on paper with San Francisco, but you're saying the cities are "integrated". I don't know what else needs to be discussed.
Every link posted was in clear response to your point of "I don't mean "city" as an administrative unit managing its administrative functions. I mean job market, tourism market, media market, developed area, etc. The SF area is nothing like DC/Balt." That was largely debunked by my later posts.
Dancing around the facts makes your point seem all over the place. I've said my peace.

You've yet to explain how it will be a DC event...
They are not going to say "liveeeee from DC" as the games are being played in Baltimore.
