I'll take New Jersey over So. Cal. But I'm already an East Coast cat (DC area) and I like the mid-Atlantic. The climate is tolerable and the people speak my lingo. Jersey has Philly and New York nearby so lots going on. The coast is nice and scenery is decent over towards the Delaware. But I think most people would prefer SoCal. Climate is better most of the year. Scenery is better. Plus LA and San Diego are major cities with alot going on.

LOL. Many of your threads always involve skewing some geographic region.

For this thread it's:

New Jersey population = NJ, Southern NY, Eastern PA, DE, Western CT = 31,126,153 people

Why would you put New Jersey in the title when you're really want the Northeast to be compared. Also, comparing the Northeast (or parts of multiple states) to one part of California? Really? Why is this so complicated? LOL.

This thread might as well be titled "New York and Philly suburbs vs Southern California".

I decided to add Eastern PA, Southern NY, Western CT and Delaware to New Jersey so New Jersey can be comparable to Southern California.

SoCal easily. NJ is a dump and falling apart, lol. It is to NYC what Orange County is to LA...a bunch of wannabes who's excuse to live there is proximity to nice beaches.
