According to Tarrant County Medical Examiner and adding the double homicide that’s not on the website yet, Fort Worth is at 65. However, Tarrant County Medical Examiner has quite a few incidents classified as “homicide” that were reported to be accidental by multiple local news reports. For that matter, their website also consists of incidents that occurred in previous years but they unfortunately died this year. On top of all that, the website has two incidents that seem like they occurred this year but no media reported on them. https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/ta...2593797/?amp=1 Tarrant County Medical Examiner is known for screw ups that occur at least every once in a while. Taking all things into consideration and just counting homicides in which only incidents that took place this year is counted; Fort Worth is probably at 58 or 59.

Anyone with info on the following cities:
SA? FW? Miami? Tampa? Honolulu? Orlando? St Pete?
Man! Poor Memphis cannot catch a break. That city seems to be going in the opposite direction lately--especially after the pandemic.
COVID seemed to wipe out a lot of progress made in Memphis, crime-wise.
Memphis has just 4 less than all of New York City - a city of 8.5 million vs a city of 630,000. YIKES.
Which cities on this list are surging up with crime, vs those trending downward? That would be interesting to see.

Miami crime map hasn't been working properly as of late, but it was at 35 by late July, probably in the 40s now. MDC (excluding Miami, Miami Beach, and select cities) murders are up 23.6% YoY

Anyone with info on the following cities:
I believe Memphis is at 290 homicides and 235 murders. There was 225 as of 9/11 and count 10 since they maybe 15 if the critical haven't been updated yet. So should be around 37.53 similar to Baltimore.

A few takeaways from this:
I know DC is having a bad year but it's actually slightly worse than Detroit? Also how does Detroit compare to last year and other recent years? Also KCMO is not too far behind Detroit.
Dallas > Chicago slightly
Salt Lake City > Los Angeles
NYC < Boston even though Boston has the reputation for being one of the safest cities. NYC not so much.
San Diego being near the bottom is no surprise, but it's even lower than San Jose.
