Philly might not even hit 400 murders this year. That’s a MAJOR improvement compared to recent years.

At the current rate, it will likely be around 410, which is still a big improvement. I predict next year the city will finish well under 400 due to a new wave of leadership and another year out from Covid.

If you want to compare states, then NY State had a lower murder rate than SD during the year in question.
