For the US, they use MSAs. Anyhow, NYC of course is #1, but 3 other US cities also made the top 15.

Rank---City---------Resident Billionaire 2023
1 New York---------------136
3 San Francisco-----------84
7 Los Angeles-------------58
15 Chicago----------------32

A link to the report: https://wealthx.com/reports/billionaire-census-2023

I wish they published at least the Top 50.

A slightly different list from Forbes:

The cities with the most billionaires in 2023:

The only U.S cities on top 10 are NYC (No.1) and SF. (No.10, tie with Delhi.)

No surprises here. These are the Big 4 for the ultra wealthy. As someone mentioned, am a little surprised Miami doesn’t round out the list with them though.

So the OP's report wasn't by metropolitan area? It wont let me download the report for some reason. South Florida's cities are smaller and it gets many wealthy snowbirds.

This link shows the Miami metropolitan area with by far the highest concentration of wealth (USD 100M+ net worth) in the entire world during its snowbird months. I can only imagine what the totals would be if they added up all those other cities around South Florida. (since it's by far the greatest snowbird destination on the planet) These are all city propers and I only listed the North American cities.

1. Miami 800+
2. The Hamptons 700+
3. West Palm Beach 400+
4. Santa Barbara & Montecito 200+
5. San Diego 200+
7. Napa 200+
9. Aspen 200+
10. Carmel-by-the-Sea 150+
11. Boca Raton 150+

The list ends with 100+

These are all vacation spots amigo. Santa Barbara does not have more millionaires than LA. We can cherry pick data all day. Miami came in 6th......behind Houston and the big 4. Still a good showing
