Yes they are, unless that just happened. It shows as available on cable as of this morning.

Yep, I stand corrected. It seems there is a push to ban them in the works, but they're still spewing their garbage.

I can't remember when so many posts in a thread have been so off topic!

That being said, I know what walkability means to some people, but shouldn't walkability include the ability to get from Point A to Point B without being accosted by beggars or confronted by human excrement?

If that had been taken into account, I wonder to what degree the rankings would have been changed?

You can't even get through 20 minutes of the broadcast without hearing how horrible San Francisco or New York City is as if they were War Zones.

Fear sells and the Rhetoric is real.
Well, I haven't been to San Francisco in decades, but this video is making the rounds now -- over two million views -- and read the comments. It seems that most people think that it IS a cesspool.

But my opinion is that if that if people want to live in San Francisco -- or any city -- or anywhere -- they should have that right as long as they can afford it.

Technically, no.

Just as the nature of the built environment through which one walks has no bearing on these rankings, neither does the nature of the people or other sights one encounters on that walk. The rankings are QOL-agnostic just as they are design-agnostic.

Two million people out of a viewership of billions and who knows how many bots out there.

It doesn't matter too much if you think it's a cesspool so much as it matters how many real living people who think it's not since there's a lot more money where someone's mouth is to visit compared to blah blah blah on videos on the internet. This isn't to say SF doesn't have issues (which city that actually has enough eyes on it to matter doesn't?) or that mass effects don't matter, but you need to pair that with the fact that there are also in person accounts and videos of plenty of visitors who have a fine time.

I was last there about four months ago. How about yourself? Just where in rural Wisconsin do you live?

If that couple thinks San Francisco is that bad why do they spend time there? If I hated a city that much, I just wouldn't go there.
