I’m talking cities where you get there and everywhere around you is a temptation to spend money.

I put Miami, Vegas, NYC and LA in the poll because they may be the most notorious for it, but I’m open to hearing any additional ones.

Let me put it this way. There are quite literally slot machines in front of airplane gates at McCarren Airport....

Spending money is Vegas's whole MO

Maybe its just because I was originally from there, but I dont find LA is all that tempting to spend money. Only in certain parts of town.

I also dont feel that in NYC.

Not going to comment on Miami. Ive only ever gone for work.

Whereas Vegas, that is their whole thing.

So Vegas is the answer.

.
Sheesh. Even when I was in Miami for work invitations to expensive things were the common.

Off topic but I think you should take a trip to Miami at some point. Since your post history suggests you being a foodie adventurer. I think you’re missing one of the most unique food cities in the US.

Is this a quiz? The sole reason Las Vegas is what it is today is that they made their business model literally “Come here and spend all the money you can on the off chance of winning some more…and if you do (or not) spend money on the bazillion retail establishments. Want to do a helicopter tour you can do that too $$$$”.

Has to be Vegas where it's spend, spend, spend, 24/7. What else is there to do? Take Vegas out of the equation, it's a toss-up.

NYC will part you with your money for doing basic things like no other. Toilets are practically pay-only now with them putting the combination code at the bottom of receipts.

But Vegas is the correct answer. Only place which makes you think you will win riches by spending money.

100% Vegas. That is why every hotel/casino has designer stores, temptation to spend gambling winnings.

NYC prices for basic goods (at least in Manhattan) hurt, but not a really a temptation to spend.

And LA & Miami feel like any other big city in terms of spending temptations.

Vegas by far---there is literally nothing else to do there but spend money-no beaches, no parks, no public spaces of note-just spending
