I've been to many major US cities but there are some I haven't seen where I'd love to go. There are also places that I have no desire to see, based on personal biases or whatever. If someone has been to cities on either of my lists here, please let me know what your experiences have been. Anything NOT on these lists are places I've either already been to, or I'm pretty neutral about.
Want to Visit
San Antonio - would love to see the river walk and explore this place a bit. Don't need a week, but just a couple of days to see what is one of our 1M+ population centers. I think the culture might be neat there.
Burlington, VT - I know it's a small place but I've heard it's very cool.
Providence, RI - I think I would enjoy the age and history and charm. But maybe it's not worth it?
Grand Rapids, MI - I'll likely make this happen pretty soon
Greenville, NC - have heard nothing but great things about this city
Mobile, AL - very intrigued, it's just in a spot I never find myself traveling
Boise, ID - boomtown, curious
Cleveland, OH - some say it sucks, others say it's very underrated. I want to see for myself.

I've been to every city on your 'no desire' list and am in fact a native of Jacksonville, which I personally find to be a fairly decent place with a really nice skyline, fairly nice weather year round, pretty neighborhoods, nice beaches, and generally laid back people. I can understand your desire to not visit Toledo, Detroit, or Baltimore (the last of these being one of the worst cities I've ever been to for various reasons). Omaha is fairly quiet and sleepy in my experience but I've often heard it's a relatively unsafe city as far as smaller cities go, and Albuquerque has really nice southwestern scenery but it's not somewhere I'd want to spend a lot of time. Orlando is just a tourist trap, and Houston traffic is crap but the people there always seem alright.
As for the cities on your 'want to visit' list, Mobile has a really cool historic city center that's worth seeing, Boise never really impressed me but it's been a few years so maybe it's changed, and Cleveland actually surprised me with how active and nice it seemed given its reputation for being a crime pit. The rest I've either never visited or have only been to so briefly as to not have any real opinion on them.

I'm a big proponent of Jacksonville on here. It's rep is definitely more hyperbolic than what you actually find on the ground. If you're not a beach person then it may not be for you. Jacksonville's downtown is definitely under it's potential but it's still not that bad. It has some pretty decent neighborhoods right around the core and some surprisingly nice restaurants. It's beaches are also a pretty good bargain compared to other Florida cities and it's in decent proximity to other attractions like St. Augustine and all of the Orlando stuff.
