So...everyone else is making city vs. city vs. city polls so I figured I'd make one too. So what do you think, New Orleans, Detroit, or St. Louis. Which is the best.

Gotta go with STL on this one. It has more of a climate I enjoy, is revamping/reinventing itself, and has nice scenery close by.

I have never had more fun in a city than I had in New Orleans.

I chose St. Louis because it seems to have the least percentage of its city proper as slummy or "ghetto-like". That's not to say that it doesn't have a lot, especially on its north side. However, it's less than the others.

St. Louis by a mile. NOLA might be a lot of fun (never been there but everyone says...) but there are more jobs and various livability things that St. Louis has over it. The only thing Detroit has going for it is hockey but I hate the deadwings so why??? I much prefer the Blues anyway.

NOLA wins this one for me. There is absolutely no other place like it. Even with all its problems (which I hope get better) I love the place.

Other fun sports events happen often, like the superbowl, red bull air races. NCAA final four next year, etc. Even though the Lions suck, Ford field is a great place to watch a game, same with the tigers although they're not doing too bad.

Perhaps I should have phrased it...the only thing Detroit has going for it that I care about is hockey.
