Not all light rail stops at traffic lights. Most systems go elevated or under ground at traffic lights. Hell, there are light rail systems with many underground portions, so you're wrong on that.
Uh...Dallas light rail has its own ROW, so no, it does not stop at traffic lights. It is at street level, but that doesn't matter. It goes elevated over roads, etc. You sure you rode the rail in Dallas?
Yes i Have most of it runs on the side of traffic like a bus. most of it doesnt run elevated and underground like real subway systems do. And ill be riding it again at the end of the month when i go to dallas. And i was talking about dallas and houston light rail not everyone else light rail the parts of dallas light rail that appear to be running underground is the shiny shed thing that covers over the station Boston and st louis are the only light rail ssytems i know that travel underground too. dallas and houston light rails feel like trolleys and its no shade. With all said you know the difference plus theres a different experience you feel when you ride a subway system and a light rail

No it doesn't. This is just flat out wrong. Stop making things up. Pull out a map and look at DART's (Dallas') system. It runs in its own ROW. Even in Downtown it does. It then goes into a subway just north of Downtown for a few miles, then comes out in North Dallas. From there, it elevates over busy streets (The Red Line). The Blue Line has crossing guards come down as it passes over streets.
And on Houston, it's expansion will include a subway section like Dallas. It will run under I-610 and come out near I-10 (Uptown Line).
yeah atlantaATL, you're partially wrong on that one. The only place where DART it runs mostly on the street is in downtown. Once it leaves downtown, it becomes it's own row. Wait until you see the green line where many of the stations are indeed elevated and they run on it's own row. BTW, the cityplace station is underground.
Even in Downtown, DART is in its own ROW. Street level, but it's in its own ROW. Also, why did you only ride in Downtown?
my friend wanted ride it he had never been on one of those before so we didnt go far because we didnt know where we were going , It did have its own row but it just felt like a bus or a car because it was like flat on the ground like a trolley if you know what i mean and it went really slow. It was just different a different experience from riding a subway system. Heay rail just gets you there alot faster and you have more room too sit. but it is a nice system
I really hate my name on here. Only have it because I was listening to a song by The Game & Common called "Angel" and it just stuck. I've asked for it to be changed many times, but no answer.
