I know. The ignorance on this forum is immaculate. The only run down "suburbs" I can think of are in the Homestead, Braddock area.

you are offending so many people right now, because Louisville is actually a good college, and it has a great basketball and football team

Philly is better than Boston by the way

I personally do not like Pittsburgh because for many reasons
1) Pittsburgh has some of the worst pollution in the world
2) Pittsburgh has no good sports teams
3) Pittsburgh has no good colleges
4) Pittsburgh has some of the highest crime rates in the country
5) Pittsburgh is very racist because it has racist history
6) Pittsburgh has no skyline or any building above 200 feet tall
7) Pittsburgh has the worst foods in the country
8) Pittsburgh has no economic support
9) Pittsburgh is a nuclear waste land

My points are valid so there is my opinion

1) Not true. The Mon Valley has bad pollution, but that is mostly from Midwestern factories. The pollution gets caught in the jet stream and settles in the Mon Valley. Pollution in countries like India and China is far worse than in the U.S., so comparing American cities to the rest of the world is asinine.

2) Perhaps you forgot how the Pens beat down the Flyers last year in both the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference Championship. The Steelers are also in some big event this Sunday...perhaps you've heard of it...it's called the Super Bowl. I think they also won that championship three years previous.

3) No good colleges? Is that why Pittsburgh has more ranked schools than Philadelphia in the U.S. News and World Report? We also have 30 schools in the metro. The Times Higher Education ranks CMU the 21st best school in the world. The school is frequently listed as first in Computer Science along with MIT.

4) Pittsburgh has the safest metropolitan area of the largest 25 metros in the country. By city proper, here are the 2008 figures:

http://os.cqpress.com/citycrime/City...8_Rank_Rev.pdf

Looks like Pittsburgh is ranked as the 61st most dangerous city in the country. In other words, it's pretty safe.

5) This isn't even a valid statement. BTW, every area of the country, in fact, every area of the world has racism, and among every race. I see no reason why Pittsburgh would worse than most other places.

6) Now this one is truly hilarious. Pittsburgh has the 2nd and 3rd largest central business districts in the state. Just five buildings off the top of my head are above 600 feet: U.S. Steel Tower, Mellon Tower, PPG Place, 5th Avenue Place and One Oxford Center.

7) I really doubt that Pittsburgh has the worst food in the country considering the thousands of restaurants we have (and at least one with a four star rating I believe). But hey, finally an opinion instead of fallacious information!

8) What does it mean that Pittsburgh has: "no economic support"? Our economy isn't New York's or LA's, but it is quite stable (especially since we had no housing boom or bust). Our economy is rather solidly placed in healthcare, education, technology and finance.

9) If you can inform me of where all this nuclear waste and levelled neighborhoods are, because I've never seen them.

Ha, I was being bad, I just wanted to see if anyone would have all of the things I had said about Pittsburgh. I knew all of that stuff was not true and I'm sorry, but it was more of an experiment. Yes the steelers are a very good team and the nuclear waste should show that I was just saying random things about Pittsburgh. I actually like Pittsburgh, it is a great city, along with Philadelphia. I take back everything I had said, and for the second time, non of it was really my real opinion.
