Come on seriously.

Chicago's skyline is in a whole nother class of it's self, more on the terms with New York.

Chicago's skyline does not have to be doctored to be magnificent. Chicago all the way.

No slight to LA, but this really isn't very fair.

LA has 486 highrises and 66 either planned or under construction

Chicago has 1,093 highrises with 140 either planned or under construction.

Chicago also has a much more concentrated level of activity as well. Almost ALL of them are downtown and along the lake. LA has downtown, but then a bunch of little clusters here and there.

LA has a nicer backdrop with the mountains and that's it, everything else Chicago wins. Only NYC and possibly Miami imo can even compete with Chicago.

The pics used to represent Chicago don't even closely portray the skyline's best angles.

Overall, its Chicago.
In terms of scenery, LA has the mountains, and Chicago has the lake. It can be a push, but i'll give the slight edge to LA cause im a good sport. In terms of actual buildings, layout, its Chicago

Agreed. This is NO comparison.

LA needs to improve their skyline. (IF, they care about it)
