This winter has been amazingly warm in Wisconsin - where it's very similar to Chicago. Haven't had snow on the ground for longer than a day. I would always choose 4 seasons, over a barely discernible two. Always.

You guys are really arguing that lows in the 80s and 90s are worse than freezing temperatures? Seriously?
Ridiculous how? Heaven forbid that a low be... low.

It is a whole lot easier to deal with cold than heat.
I've never had a flight delay...because it was too hot outside.

How many multi-car pileups are caused by high heat? Exactly.

Phoenix is my hometown, smarty-pants. Meanwhile you live in LA. What do you even know about heat? LA is cooler than Chicago!

Since when is LA cooler than Chicago? In summer, LA is a desert. It was so hot when i was there in August.

A desert, precisely. Low humidity. Plus, did you go out after dark? It cools down amazingly fast.

I've been to Phoenix enough times that I can safely comment on it. The summer days can be brutal, but the nights are okay. As long as the sun isn't beating down on my face, I'm good.

You were talking about homers, you sure know the meaning of one.

I have never had a flight delay because it was too cold.

Chicago does not have dust storms that make it horrible for people with breathing problems.

How many people live in Chicago compared to Phoenix? If it is so much easier to deal with, then how come, with over double the amount of land, Phoenix has about half the population?

So you do not go outside, or at least outside during the day.
