Thoughts on Tucson v. Honolulu? Tired of the rainy Pacific Northwest and looking for feedback on sunny locales--Thanks!

this comes down entirely to personal preferences man. if you like the beach go to the beach. if you like the desert go to the desert.

That's like asking should I move to heaven or hell. If you want to bake in an oven, have skin that makes you look like worn leather and never see the ocean or any body of water again then move to Tucson.

Honolulu without a doubt. I was born and raised in Seattle and moved to Honolulu recently and have had a great time.

Honolulu is a world renowned tourist city while Tucson is only really known about within the U.S.

Honolulu has beautiful beaches, great bars, friendly people, amazing climate(82 degrees everyday), and an endless amount of outdoor activities.

NW people usually can't last in Arizona. It's too different.

AZ gets chilly sometimes, and is far from the ocean. Plus, who wants 115F weather in summer? Hawaii's nice tropical weather is better!

Coming from the Pacific NW Tucson might be a little too sunny for you. But also keep in mind that Tucson is apart of the mainland. Honolulu is obviously very isolated from the rest of the country. If you don't mind the isolation and can afford the cost of living then I say Honolulu all the way.

Both suck, ones too isolated, one is too hot. I would go to Northern Arizona up by Flagstaff/Sedona/Prescott

I like them both for different reasons. It all depends on one's personality and preference.

Tucson by FAR.

One of my top 10 favorite cities in both the United States & world. (For personal reasons that will remain unsaid)
