Can someone from Chicago enlighten me on how come Chicago that claims a vibrant cultural life, great theater, beautiful beaches, famous architecture, friendly people and interesting, historical suburbs seem to be completely ignored by celebrities of any kind?
I mean if you claim the city and its suburbs are such great, exciting places to live, why the icons of political, business or cultural life, active or retired, people that can freely chose their place of residence do not ever move there?
Is there anything wrong with Chicago?

Most of the poeple you listed do not live in Chicagoland. I was asking about celebrities moving to Chicago not running away from Chicago.

Try to keep up with who posts what LOL. I posted the list of celebrities. Dumbass said something about it being a list of people born in Chicago and then leaving- I pointed out Santo as someone who obviously wasn't born in Chicago but still on the list- meaning it wasn't a list of people were born in Chicago.

Buddy. Dumbass is a personal attack. Learn to discuss in a civilized way or leave.
Your list is bogus as most of the people on the list do not live in Chicago and Anton Cermak, mayor of Chicago is not a national celebrity. Mayor of new York Michael Bloomberg is an international business celebrity.
Why do you post trash like this?

Fool? Look at your list. Does Darryl Hannah live in Chicago?
Does Robin Williams, ********, Clinton, Manzarek, Ford live in Chicago?
Talking about a fool? Look in the mirror. I am talking about celebrities who live in Chicago and not the ones that ran away as soon as they could.
