The thing about these two cities is that they were ranked #1 and #2 in the cities where people would most like to live, if they can afford it. Which would you rather live in? New York has the density, world class arts and entertainment, massive skyline, and best public transit system in the U.S., while San Diego is a suburban, family-friendly environment, has a better climate, and is less expensive than NYC.

Not everyone wants to live in New York City. I voted for San Diego.

This one isnt even close. SD is one of the most beautiful cities in the world with an absolutely perfect climate. NYC is overcrowded.

I beg to differ. There is no perfect weather. Not everyone likes boring sunny all the time weather. NYC has all types of weather which is amazing. Sunny, cloudy, rain, snow, hail, fog, mist, strong winds, hurricane rains, small rare tornados, etc. One day it was so wierd and interestingIt was foggy and misty with snow on the ground and the sun made the fog a beautiful yellow. Here are some pics of NYC.

Where do you find all these nice pictures? Do you take them?

You should post some amazing pictures in the NYC vs. Chicago skyline thread. Show all those people that NYC's buildings aren't "cartoon-like" slabs
