Yeah, Zillow is awful; they're off by like $200K on my house.

The next town over from me is Old Westbury, where a lot of celebs own houses. It's always listed as one of the most expensive real estates in the country. I would give a google maps view, but they're so far off the road.

The cheapest ones tend to go for at least 3 million, and don't forget, our property taxes are sky high, so you can imagine the taxes on these mansions. This one house in particular has $98,000 property tax a year, plus $17,700 village tax. Here are a few:

My best friend growing up lived in one of the top 5 most expensive zip codes in the country. Her house had to have been worth at least 5 million. Her dad owns a business in the Hamptons.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis House in Los Feliz is for sale at half the initial price from last year, "only" $7.5M. The house, a modern take on pre-Columbian architectural gestures, is made up of concrete blocks, but major reconstruction is required. The historical conservancy foundation just could no longer sustain it. A private buyer would have to assume the cost of continued rehabilitation, and that is easily in the millions--tens of millions, even. But my gosh is that house magnificent!

Technically, it's the same town.

I like the color of the mahogany redwood cabinets and the light colored granite counter tops in the kitchen. Nice fit.
