Not top 5, but Honolulu/Waikiki I think is pretty under rated. There aren't any supertalls or anything but has a very high density of highrises and looks great in the evenings especially with the diamond head backdrop.

Everybody on the mainland always seen to overlook Honolulu Hawaii which wipe the floor with Des Moines and Louisville.

agreed, and Honolulu is the only "Asian style" skyline in America, which makes it even cooler.

Like/agree with the top 5. I was GOING TO dispute the order, but then I thought it through and I totally agree. Philly and SF need to have a leg up on Miami because of architecture, history and diversity. Miami is amazing and it CAN be even more amazing, but like Vancouver or Honolulu, it's very monocentric-looking to me (despite that comes off as a negative, it made my top 5 list and most peoples', so be happy, Miami!).
