Is exactly what I said. Beautiful photos of the actual skylines, but Philly is not top 5 overall skyline. Too much brown in the skyline, and the few tall buildings make it look odd. But some extremely neat angles and colors make it a nice skyline just not an impressing one more than some other cities.

Which skylines do you rank higher?

I would say you are the exception and not the norm.

I dont see any comparison at all. Pittsburgh would be among the leaders of the second tier of skylines.Simply doesnt have the critical mass to be compared to Philadelphia. Philadelphia imo after Manhattan + Chi is among the leading candidates on the first tier.

In terms of tastes I may be the exception, not everyone will prefer Pittsburgh and not everyone will prefer Philly.

I would put Philly together with SF, Boston, Houston, Miami and ATL and not with NY and Chicago in terms of critical mass.

If we are going by how I perceive Critical mass I would say
1. NY
2. Chicago

3. SF
4. Honolulu
5. Houston
6. Boston
7. Philly
8. LA

9. ATL
10. Miami
