Show me some pictures of videos of blacks and whites celebrating like that in Texas and I'll believe you. For now I don't.

Well there you go. Deacon J just showed you. And dont get me wrong, im NOT saying NYC isnt wack or anything, everyone knows it's diverse, BUT did you REALLY believe that everyone in Texas didnt celebrate the election of pres Obama? Did you REALLY believe that blacks and whites couldnt come together in Texas? Not trying to be rude just asking?

If I had to pick a state, then I would say that West Virginia gives off this 'absolutely no minorities allowed' vibe to me.

But who am I kidding? As unfortunate as it is, racism appears to exist everywhere and anywhere from anyone (be it white, black, brown, red, tan, yellow, green, whatever) in this country. It's just that there tends to be different brands of it. Some areas may be more passive and subtle than others, but it's still all there.

I suppose racism is alright so long as none of the baggage (exclusion, segregation, stereotypes, resentment and animosity) comes along with it.

- I would imagine NYC along with other big towns on the east coast to be racist with not as much baggage.

- There are portions of the south that could really go either way, from what I've experience. Back in the day, there was blatant overt racism, but things have really pacified in the past couple of decades.

- I'm still trying to feel things out here on the west coast, but it appears to be a mix of the east coast mentality, but with more subtleness. People here seem to be passive-aggressively racist, but then don't really care when the weekend rolls around because it's so nice out here.

- From what I've seen and experienced, a lot of the overt racism comes from the midwest nowadays. I could be wrong about the midwest, but this is the impression it's giving me.

Are you serious?! ...and from those pictures did you notice that Asians live in Texas, too? Hopefully, you don't make generalizations about different groups of people the way you just did with Texas.
