Honolulu and the southern portions of the west coast probably win for best year-round climate (though I won't say socal wins in very many other categories).

Portions of Utah (like the Wasatch Back) and Colorado (the Front Range Urban Corridor) are also awesome--even though the thermometer tells you it's really cold in winter, the sun is still out bright (really bright) and shining and there's little to no wind chill. Additionally, it's nice and dry year-round and the summers are very temperate. Though please correct me if I'm wrong about this as I only know this from reading, guessing, and a week spent in Park City.

I disagree with whoever posted NYC. I feel like the winters are sometimes bitingly cold and long while summer often has stretches where the heat and humidity is almost unbearable.

For the most part I agree but I will say when I lived in San Diego most of the time it felt like fall in Colorado, not quite cold yet not hot almost like it would be snowing in a few weeks.....

I'll agree with Southern NM. Four seasons but not too cold. Can get warm in the lower elevations in the summer, but nearby mountains relieve the heat. We are at 7,000ft Perfect all year round!!!

Denver for me....

LOTS of sunny days, low to little humidity, and 4 distinct seasons. Same thing in Switzerland (perfect weather)

I can't stand too much of one thing (extremes) and would hate living in North Dakota or Miami.
