Atlanta and LA both have 32 buildings above 400ft

So as far as height is concerned they are pretty much the same.

Really its someones opinion what city of architecture, etc that they would prefer

I am not an Atlanta supporter at all, but I am just stating the obvious with this statement..... 10yrs from now the atlanta skyline is going to have a lot more height than the la skyline

I agree. LA is a nice metro area but they are just not known for their skyline and I don't see that changing anytime soon.......

Ok? I'm sure you could say the same thing about pictures for a lot of smaller skylines.

Why not Anaheim or Irvine?

Long Beach

Does Atlanta's skyline soar over the city like LA?
Yea the BOA tower is 1,023ft.. with a 3 story antenna on top..
LA stands around 1,018... with NO ANTENNAS.

Yea LA has no archutecture... your right..

PS : Do the cliffs hit the ocean in Atlanta? oh yea... you dont have either.
Yes, Atlanta's skyline soars over the city like L.A.

Does LA's skyline emerge from dense canopy of trees? Oh yeah, you don't have those.

None of those pictures even remotely compare to Atlanta. Sure, they are a few highrises in them....as would a picture of Birmingham, Alabama.

And what do "cliffs hitting the ocean" have to do with skylines?

Of course they don't "remotely compare" to Atlanta they both have very different natural settings..
Atlanta has trees
Los Angeles has Mountains,Hills and Beaches..and trees.

My point was that they don't have as many skyscrapers are Atlanta does. Lyrsc said that comparing Atlanta's skyline to Los Angeles's skyline was a joke and that Atlanta's skyline was more comparable to the suburbs of L.A., which is total and complete bull****.

Atlanta's skyline is smaller? You need to look again...and compare the number of highrises in L.A. and Atlanta - they are very much equal.

If Atlanta has a "smaller" skyline, then so does L.A. I personally don't see either of them as "smaller", but if that's your opinion....
