I don't want to move from here for the next 10 years; our plan then is to relocate to the Savannah area.

Yep, want to move back up north in the future. If I can't do that, then maybe NC or something.

I am too, especially with so many threads with people bragging about their cities.

The people that have posted on here are a small percentage of all city data posters. There are a lot of people that brag about their cities and they probably just haven't posted on this topic. Maybe they were uninterested in the topic since it has to do with moving and they don't want to move.

Somedays I do and then somedays I don't. My city is unpopular with many of the posters on here and somedays this city is unpopular with me too. But for the life of me, I don't know what would be better. I have a job, so does my wife, a kid with 2 years HS left. Sounds like a better deal than many people have right now. Why move and discover the place you move to you really hate? My wife and I can't agree on where we would like to move to so we will just stay here for now. As long as things are ok, we will stay.

Now maybe if I were younger and single I would probably be living elsewhere. I wouldn't make the mistake again of listening to the unimformed (parents and gf). I would keep my mouth shut and JUST MOVE!!!!!

I've already moved twice. From Buffalo, to Raleigh and then to Rochester. If I had to, I would probably move back to Buffalo or as far as NYC. But I'm in Rochester and thats only 1.5 hours from Buffalo now. So I would say no.

Yes ...

only here in Florida for school and to be around family a little more and riding out the economy I was planning on staying longer but don't think I can take it... Florida these days isn't the low cost laid back living it seemed to use to be.

moving back to Chicago next year.
