yes they do but im talking first languages (only language they speak). but yea, LA is very diverse, i read somewhere that they have residents from 140 different countries. i also read somewhere that in the near future (probably 20-30 years) hispanics will make up 70% of the LA areas population. that is a HUGE drain in diversity. but as of now, l.a just might be more diverse than ny (keyword; might).
yes, but you cannot tell colombians, cubans, mexicans, dominicans, panamanians, ect ect apart. they do have a certain way they speak that differs along with their body features too, but like i said they all look like the same race for the most part.

What can't the US Census classify Hispanics as a race then?
another thing to remember is LA's diminishing black population (which adds to the loss of diversification). the white population (from what i here on some of the california threads) is slowly thining too. i remember in the 80's LA's black population was like 20%, now itsp below 12%.

Kind of sad. I guess the only diverse area in LA city would probably be on the westside or the Hollywood area.

i dont understood your question but ill answer anyway. when i read census data they usually put all hispanics in one category. they may include afro-latinos in the black category and white latinos in the white category, but for the most part it just says "hispanic".

Do you think LA will ever reverse its white and black population?

yea, i can see it increasing if people stop with their stereotypes of mexicans and mexicans and blacks start learning to live in the same community and stop the violence and tension between them.
