Pueblo is known as Colorado's industrial center so I thought I would start by showing some of Pueblo's heavy industries. They include a steel mill, wind turbine plant, and a cement plant. On top of that Pueblo is going to get a 1 billion dollar solar plant and a alternative energy park that will be the largest in the country.
I just love all the older homes there in Scranton It's enough to make me want to go on a tour of homes there if they have such a thing.
I live in older home and they just don't make them like they used to when it comes to style.
Do your cities get this much attention from your governor?
The Denver Post has said that:
"Pueblo is the most important democratic city out side of the metro area in the state"
This shows how important Pueblo is to the Colorado:
"Gov. Bill Ritter heads to Pueblo today for the first time since the tongue-lashing he received in January, in part over his pick for the U.S. Senate. "
"Pueblo has a history of letting elected officials know when they think they're doing something right or wrong," said Rep. Sal Pace, D-Pueblo. "Politics is sport in Pueblo."

Two more industrial type large projects coming to Pueblo
This is the map of where the 1 billion dollar solar plant will be built.
*Note that is also the location of a military based that was closed due to the downsizing but since Fort Carson has been expanded they might have to re open the Pueblo Army Depot as a base to help Fort Carson. Currently hundreds of people work there.
BOISE, ID--(Marketwire - September 15, 2008) - Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AEHI) signed an agreement with a representative of the proposed Colorado Energy Park (CEP) southeast of Pueblo, CO to negotiate contracts on land and water rights for multiple large advanced nuclear reactors. The current CEP site is over 21,000 acres and is valued at $83 million, including substantial water use rights. CEP can host a mixed portfolio of renewable energy including solar PV and CSP, wind, biomass, small-hydro and nuclear. AEHI will seek a complement of multiple clean energy providers to fully utilize the large site and share the nuclear plant's transmission, water, road and rail infrastructure. When fully developed, CEP will help meet the state's and region's growing demand for electricity. At CEP, AEHI will help the US achieve energy independence, and meet the goal of increasing sources of green energy to reduce CO2 and toxic emissions from the global environment. The CEP as a merchant site should be able to wield power east of the Rockies as needed to meet demand.

Scranton - was it really necessary to whip out the photos just yet? Same your ammo! BTW - you still have not used your influence to change the PA license plates yet.
Agreed! And many of us know that something you forgot to add to your list is that Scranton's got charm!
I love Colorado, but honestly (no offense meant) I think Pueblo's a big, ugly dump. I'd take some of its neighbors though, like Cripple Creek, Canon City, or Florence in a heartbeat. But Pueblo... Eh... And Richmond? No way Jo-zee. Pensacola... is in Florida. Flori-DUH as in DUH I would never want to live somewhere with that awful of a climate.
Therefore... Scranton wins.
