Which state has the strongest black community, culture, lifestlye, food, and dialect?

I know that I didn't list all the states that people think are the blackest; I just, however, listed the ones that I thought were a little bit more obvious than others.

Is there really an answer to this question? I think they are all strong and you left out a lot of state. In fact, you could have listed just about every Southern state.

Mississippi, omly due to traditionally and currently being the state with the highest percentage of Black people. South Carolina is up there historically and currently is either 2nd or 3rd. Interestingly, my parents are from both states and NY is the state with the most Black people with over 3 million.

No, NY State has more Black people than any other state. Of course that is bolstered by NYC's Black population, which is about 2.1 million. Interestingly enough, NYC isn't even NY State's Blackest city percentage wise. Rochester is about 40% and Buffalo is about 39% Black. Albany is about 31% and Syracuse is about 30%. NYC is about 28% Black. Black people live almost all over the state, even rural areas. Keep in mind that NY is the 10th Blackest state in the US and is about 18% Black.

No, I though NYC's black population was just over 3 million.
