This is a difficult one. I like Las Vegas but I was there two Christmas's ago and I went for a walk past the strip and was shocked by the rapid change of scenery. I would not live there.

So it comes down to Phoenix and Albuquerque for me. I would pick the latter because their evenings are milder

I continually question whether my tax dollars benefitted me or Mr Wynn - then he also takes my non tax dollars

Vegas is pretty unique though and Sedona is amazing

Phoenix is cool. So is Vegas. If the Coachella Valley is an option so should the Imperial Valley be *rolls eyes*. Everything found in the Desert Empire (CV) is easily found in Phoenix and Vegas. I wouldn't say the CV is major compared to Phoenix. It's not a city either :P.

But as long as the landscaping is good and there is nice architecture it generally works for me.

I vote Phoenix. The largest economy out of them all and probably the best public transportation out of them, plus pretty decent higher ed. Although UNM is way up there too.
