Congrats on spending a billion dollars for a team that plays 8 home games a year. Here is a well written outsiders point of view on this monster...

New stadium for Cowboys is appalling - STLtoday.com (http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/columnists.nsf/berniemiklasz/story/A31354C6014BB9088625763B0011868D?OpenDocument - broken link)

I am a Jets fan and I hate the new Stadium! WTF were they thinking another shared stadium. Two teams in the biggest market in the country and they could not afford a dome- Get real. Guess i gotta catch the jets on the road. What a waste and the people of New Jersey went for it.

Cowboys Stadium is great and looks like your watching the game from an advanced space station.

Meadowlands Stadium makes you feel like your watching the event from heaven.

Both are easily the 2 best stadiums in the league. Both can easily prove to be second to none. Both have certain advantages over the other.

Example cowboys stadium:

It has the biggest and best JumboTron HD screen on the planet and with the retractable roof - There's
no event that could be played in the meadowlands stadium that cannot be played in cowboys stadium.

Example meadowlands stadium:

More HD screens in this stadium than cowboy stadium.

Since 2 teams are sharing this stadium - It will be the only stadium in the league that will be used every sunday generating higher revenue which will result in this stadium becomong fully paid for alot sooner than cowboys stadium. It could easily result in ticket prices and PSL's going down alot faster as well. That's the REAL advantage of having 2 teams sharing one stadium.

Overall:

"THE MEADOWLANDS STADIUM IS DEFINITLY BETTER THAN COWBOY STADIUM"

The reasons are simple:

1-Retractable Roof stadiums are not very popular in the NFL. Most NFL fans prefer outdoor cold weather football.

2-The meadowlands stadium reveolutionary lights that reflects the home team colors through out the stadium has a way of dazzling the naked eye at a higher level than cowboys stadium. That alone will prove to be the ultimate factor in the years to come.

Naw. Cold weather is miserable for most people, no one wants to watch a game outside in the snow, HENCE the reason why most Superbowls HARDLY take place North of NC, and the one's that DID take place up North(Detroit), took place n DOMED stadiums. Dallas's outward design, GIANT megatron screen, retractable roof, and it's LARGE seating capacity EASILY make it the BEST and most coveted NFL stadium in the US. Think about it, they played the NBA All-Star game in there to put more buts in the seats to see the NBA All-Star game( it was the largest crowd to attend an NBA All-Star game) They are even thinking of having the supposed Manny Pacqua/Floyd Mayweather fight in Cowboys Stadium(if it happens). Cowboys Stadium is greater than Giants Stadium.
