NYC basically controls the world, lol!!! When the Wall Street Crashes then the entire planet's stock exchanges fail, United Nations is a group of like 170 countries with NYC as it's HQ!!! But D.C. is very important, if you drive through D.C. you can feel how important it is by it's architecture, police, etc!!! On wikipedia there are some articles dealing with D.C. that you can't even edit, so that show's some sort of power to me...lol
ex. White House - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Category:Government projects and installations - TinWiki.org
This website is fake (most likely) but it gives you a good idea over the government's secrecy, my favorite link is the one about the "Dulce Underground Facility". But some of the stuff is real like Mount Weather in VA, the Dulce Facility represents the 2nd government I'm talking about called the "Black Govt"!!!

Used to be NYC now it's DC. Ever since the taxpayers took ownership in a big part of Wall Street.

Agree that the combo of Washington DC & NYC. I think Baltimore is more like a neighboring city in DC area & part of the government.

Why not?

In reality, technically we'd do just fine without either.

I dunno... most people looking at their 401Ks right now aren't really happy with Wall Street at the moment.

Who is the biggest liar? The most shadiest? The politician or the CEO?

DC for politics. NYC for the economy. Also, cities such as LA, Miami, Baltimore, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Houston, New Orleans, and Memphis are very important.

nyc is way more important. Politics could just pick up and move to another state and what would dc as a city have to offer after that?
