I went to a Phillies game in May, the season they would go on and win the world series. A thursday night game. A team with Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, and Jason Werth, and there was only 22,000 people there. In Philadelphia.

Check your own link - Philly was #5 in attendance in 2008 that you referenced, # 3 last year and #1 so far this season

Try the attendance to salary cap ratio....the Twins would be near the top since they are notorious for not spending money on talent, yet still sell 25K-30K tickets a game and have been for a while now.

Yeah, which I still didn't get... I was like "Ok, this is a brand new stadium, a very decent team, and in a giant city, how are there only 22,000 here?"
