ok so we know know Queens County of New York City is the most ethnically diverse county in all of the United States of America and some of its neighboring boroughs like Manhattan ('new york county') are likely not far behind.

no surprise, just look at ellis island, and NY being the port of entry and "first stop" for many, many immigrants into the USA.

Where else?

where else has the vastest range of nationalities and household languages like Queens does?

wouldn't hurt to come up with top 3. esp cuz of there being 5 boroughs in new york city alone.

LA County, although I still think LA County is pretty tough competition for Queens as far as diversity goes. LA is also a "first stop" for many immigrants coming in from other countries. It certainly has the vast range of languages and nationalities (which are not fully picked up in those statistics that everyone is using to claim Queens is "officially" the most diverse county. I still think it's a two, or maybe even more, tie for that "most diverse" title)

Alameda County is up at the very top as well.

Is Harris County Houston? That would make sense, too.

You may not know it but Hawaii County was recently the #1 most diversified county in the USA.....the Bronx had been #1 for a long time but about 10 years ago Hawaii county, where I happened to live at the time, ranked #1 for as long as these things last. Then I read in the paper that Queens took over the number 1 spot. Hawaii has an incredible mix of people and a wonderful place to raise children.
