If each region could swap one state from their region for another which would it be and why.

The Northeast (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island)

The Middle Atlantic (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland)

The South (Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi)

The Midwest (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota,)

The South Central (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri and Louisiana)

Rocky Mountains (North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, and Utah)

The West (California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii)

Its about even as I could get it. DC included for taxation with representation LOL.

sorta odd divisions. Why isn't NY in mid-atlantic? then Northeast could just be New England. And I'm pretty sure there are no mountains, Rocky or otherwise, in ND. And Iowa and Nebraska are south central? hmm. I don't mean to complain though, no "regions" are perfect.

I suppose NH is the odd man out in New England, due to politics, although this is generally exaggerated by people who aren't from around here. Florida seems like a safe bet as the different one of the south. I guess Hawaii in the west.

Really not sure what you are looking for though.

This isn't a "comparison". Please take some time and read the room sticky at the top of the room to see what is and what is not on topic for this particular room, please. Thank you.
