Since this topic never ever seems to get old, I would like to see how other c-d'ers react to where their city placed on my list. If you take notice I didn't rank Milwaukee as a top city, because I am honest and not a raving homer like some others on here are. My list mainly took population and GDP into account but also just my personal impressions and opinions of each city.

If you're considering importance and influence, this is pretty spot on in my opinion, although why is Dallas so much higher than Houston? Also, I may put DC above Chicago...overall, good job though.

The Metroplex has 1,000,000 more people than Greater Houston and a much larger GDP. Dallas and Atlanta have more diverse economies, whereas Houston is mainly tied to energy industry the same way Detroit is tied to automobile industry.

..very little to argue with here; I agree with your selection of the top 15 cities, although from 6-15 the order may vary a little from person to person. I don't think that the tier system is absolutely necessary, but the cities chosen for the top 15 are very good; in fact, I just might agree with every position.
