Here are some more of West Texas.

These are the Davis Mountains.




Guadalupe Mountains National Park (probably one of the least known national parks)



Palo Duro Canyon (2 hour drive from my home)



Caprock Canyon (about a 90 minute drive from my home )

Llano Estacado (These are the plains that Lubbock and Amarillo sit on the edge of. Ten percent of the world's cotton is grown here. It isn't the prettiest part of Texas, but it has a unique beauty. I think it has some of the most beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and skies in general.)

Doesn't look too different from other states/cities, besides the spanish titled roofs. But you can find that in a few other states.

That's not the point. You have bashed Houston in the past for having no density, and these pictures show otherwise. These show that Houston (as well as the other Texas cities) have urbanity despite misconceptions.
