So wait, you are comparing the 6th most populated state with two major cities to a poor, fat, backwards craphole like Arkansas or Mississippi?
Get ready for somebody to rehash what James Carville said 22 ****ing years ago, as if it was even accurate then, let alone now. Because hey, if you repeat a LIE often enough, it becomes the truth.
I lived in Florida for 12 years, in Boca Raton--truly a poor fit for me. However, as much as I dislike Florida, it's really a much better place to live overall than Pennsylvania--better weather, lifestyle, roads/infrastructure, more things to do, etc. In all honesty, I wouldn't recommend Pennsylvania to my worst enemy--easily one of the least desirable states in the US, on par with Deep South and Lower Midwest states.
Uh huh. Yes, Pennsylvanians are just biding their time to move to the so many "more desirable" states of the country.

I'd pick Miami over Philly and Pittsburgh. I'd pick Orlando or Tampa over Pittsburgh. People act like urbanity is the only way a city can be good and forget the fact that some people just don't care or want that lifestyle.
I lived in both, and while neither are ideal, I would pick FL over PA. PA is just way to cold, gray, gloomy for half the year. People in Florida seem to be a little less uptight, and the cost of living is higher, especially in eastern PA.
