Northern Florida is about the most redneck place you'll find anywhere. Trailer parks, restaurants that serve fried catfish, fat people with tattoos, you name it.
Why does everyone have to stereotype a place? If people are happy where they are and with what they are doing that should be all that matters. Anybody knocking "redneck" areas are truly the most backward people IMO.

Fried catfish = Redneck
Interesting correlation. Thank you for your well thought out response.

If you're actually insider the city limits of Jackson, Little Rock, Augusta, Fayetteville (NC), Birmingham, Montgomery, Jacksonville, Tallahassse, or Charleston (SC), you're more likely
to encounter dreadheads with gold teeth and 24 inch rims on an old school car than you are a redneck.

It's not "anything to me". I'm not the one who started the topic and created the poll, which I guess you haven't noticed. I was just answering the question.
You have obviously never been further than 10 miles out of the NYC limits or your post was heavy with sarcasm.
New York has many towns with rednecks, hillbillies and hicks just like every other state.
I'm a native new yorker and there are places within 1 hour of NYC that are pretty read neck. There are towns in the Taconic Mountains and the Catskills where people all have the same last name, have similar physiological features and speak with a southern type drawl.
I didn't vote, but I looked at the poll results. Little Rock, AR is actually a pretty nice city.
I think a lot of you need to get out more.
