I meant MAJOR AMERICAN.He destryed many cities in his "March To the Sea".But none as big as Atlanta was at the time or at least today.
Well you didn't say "major city" and Atlanta really wasn't a major city at the time (and as far as I know, Atlanta was the only city that was actually burned to the ground in Sherman's march). In 1860, the city had 9,554 people and was the 3rd largest city in GA behind Savannah, Augusta, and Columbus.

I saw on the LA-Atlanta skyline competition there were posts showing some of the new buildings in Atlanta. There were a few that were awesome (I especially like the Mandarin Oriental). I figure it'd be cool to show one of the new skyscrapers going up in Philly (I don't think this has been posted before):
Not bad eh?!
You mean these. Plus I threw in a few of my favorites.
Photos, due to telephoto lenses, don't tell the true story. Philly wins hands down. Better downtown, denser, larger, way more going on. But...Atlanta has better architecture especially if you include midtown & Buckhead.
Way more going on??? Have you ever been to Philly?
Looks no different then the other pictures of Atlanta that have been posted a million times.
Your so ignorrant! And Clearly have never been to Philly or Atlanta I have spent quite alot of time in both. You need to stop posting until you know what you are talking about.
