ATL folk got all kinds of time to snap shots cause all they do is sit in traffic. 85 will make you crazy in the head.
Philly ain't no B-Mo, but it's close.

When I think of hubs with lots of through traffic I think of Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Philly.....

Traffic jams in rural areas or cornfields happen on many interstates though. It happens too much (IMO) from Minneapolis to Chicago, and I've seen it happen on I-70 and I-80 through Indiana, for instance. Simply on volume, and not necessarily for cabins, holidays or accidents either.

I really do not quite understand how through traffic impacts local traffic in major cities.....but it's an interesting subject!
You are incorrect sir.Atlanta metro population is almost 6 million people. The majority of those people live in the suburbs and commute to and from the city. You are correct about :Atlanta is also a MAJOR thoroughfare from the Northeast and Midwest to the beaches of Florida through I-75

Wait I thought the MSA population was 5.5 million? How did it grow that much in 2 years? Or are you talking about CSA?

I would think ATL would want to be more like Philly? I never had anyone reach down in their waistband on me in Philly.

You have to talk about density. It is important and it is better for a city. And I am one of the first to say I do not care about history. But I do care about it, but in my day to day life I do not live by it. It is a nice thing to have and Philly has it greater than Atlanta. You have to acknowledge that if it wasnt for Phillly and Boston then Atlanta would not even be here.
if it were not for Jamestown and the help of the Native Americans none would be here.Totally irrelevant.
