Why dont you pull proof of your claim that jobs are moving to Florida. And the kind of jobs that are moving.

That is common knowledge. Florida is a right to work state and has low taxes. Companies save a lot of money moving here. Construction is probably the largest

Go do a google search of all the teachers that are being cut in Florida. Also, google what the DECLINING ENROLLMENT is across Florida. I just saw a post today which stated that Broward alone lost 3,000 students in one year. I take that to mean that FAMILIES are leaving Florida. Florida is not going to sustain it self with a population of retirees, snowbirds, and tourists. It NEEDS young familes, but with young families comes the need for JOBS, which Florida just plain doesn't have.

Exactly. Construction is the largest. And this recession has taught us that construction is not a good thing to base your economic growth on.

That is incorrect, actually Florida (especially Orlando and Tampa) has many low-wage jobs.

So does everywhere. Besides, Florida has a very low cost of living. How many times does that have to be said for it to register? You do know what Cost of living is, don't you?

Places like Tampa, Orlando, and Miami do not have an extremely low cost of living. Florida is ranked 32 in cost of living.
