243 not that many. The most wealthy millionaires in the world are the only ones who can afford that.

I do know a thing or 2 about real estate here. I just bought a place and I live in the city.

243, that's like one building.

You're right. Considering the density and the hi-rise buildings, that isn't many at all.

That is a lot. To compare, In Beverly Hills, there are "only" 131 homes > 4,000 sq ft on the market.

Renting an apartment in New York obviously does not qualify one as having any knowledge when it comes to the luxury sector of real estate.

No, it isn't. And keyword "on the market". Obviously, the entire Upper East Side isn't for sale.

The population of Beverly Hills is only roughly 34,000. The Upper East Side population is more than 200,000.

Right, and we are talking just about homes that are FOR SALE, not all of the 4,000 or bigger in the whole neighborhood or city. Luxury real estate usually comes up onto the market less often than your average home.

What does this have to do with anything?

There is no such thing as a 240 unit building with nothing but 4,000 sq ft apartments. And what don't you understand about "for sale"? I'm sure there are thousands of 4,000 + sq ft apartments.

These people who don't live in NY try to argue with people who are natives...it's funny.

You were wrong...now you are editing your previous post to try to change what you meant. Its time to move on.
