That is a lot. In Beverly Hills, there are "only" 131 homes > 4,000 sq ft on the market.
Renting an apartment in New York obviously does not qualify one as having any knowledge when it comes to the luxury sector of real estate.
Right, and we are talking just about homes that are FOR SALE, not all of the 4,000 or bigger in the whole neighborhood or city. Luxury real estate usually comes up onto the market less often than your average home.
Have you been to the upper east side? Have you seen the high rises condos and apartment buildings?
What does this have to do with anything?
There is no such thing as a 240 unit building with nothing but 4,000 sq ft apartments. And what don't you understand about "for sale"? I'm sure there are thousands of 4,000 + sq ft apartments.
